Our Single Wheel Building service is a labor-only, custom build using components you provide—rim, hub, spokes, and nipples—assembled with precision and care. Wheel building is both a craft and a discipline, and it’s one we genuinely enjoy. We’re a rare bike shop that loves building wheels, backed by experience working for a wheel manufacturer and a deep appreciation for what makes a wheel durable, responsive, and ride-defining. Each wheel is carefully laced, tensioned, stress-relieved, and trued to deliver the ride quality you’re seeking—whether that’s strength, compliance, durability, or performance. This service covers one wheel only. If you’re interested in having both wheels built, please reach out to the shop to discuss two-wheel build pricing. This offering is best suited for experienced riders pursuing a specific setup or feel, and for those who value craftsmanship as much as the ride itself. Turnaround time will vary based on complexity and shop volume.
Cancellation Policy
Booking a service request reserves time for evaluation and repair but does not require payment at the time of booking. Final pricing is confirmed after the bicycle is inspected. Customers are not billed until service is completed unless prior arrangements have been made. Service estimates are valid for 30 days. If additional issues are discovered, approval will be requested before work continues. Labor is warranted for 30 days following service completion.
